Finding the Unique Mission of your career/business

  • Casa Latina, Room 306 317 17th Ave S Seattle, WA 98144 USA (map)

Whether you're dreaming of starting a small business, or already have a small business, clearly identifying the unique mission of YOUR business will help your business succeed. Your mission will guide decision making and marketing efforts, creating far more efficiency than if you did not have a mission.

When hunting for employment it can be easy to loose sight of what things in a job will really feed you, in addition to bringing in a pay check. Clearly defining a vision for yourself gives you a landmark and reference point for all career opportunities. A vision makes it clear if this is the right position for you. It also clarifies how you construct your resumes, cover letters and other application materials.

The purpose of this one hour class is to create a vision for your career/business which will guide decision making and marketing efforts. The work done in this class will enhance how you write about your work in class descriptions, and how you talk about your work with peers and prospective clients/employers.

As a result of this class you will be able to:

  • Define what success looks like in the scope of your whole life
  • Define your purpose and what success looks like for your work-life
  • Define your ideal client

At the end of this training you will have a clear understanding of these three key components of an elevator speech about your work/business.

This class is perfect for job seekers of any kind as well as solo entrepreneurs and owner operated businesses in fields such as mental health therapy, massage therapy, dance instruction, and yoga teachers.

This class is next scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM (PST) at Casa Latina, Room 306, 317 17th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. Register below:
